Description
Low VOC, Acetone based,
Pigmented ink for use in the
8000 printheads. This is a
pigmented ink that is
used for printing on dark
substrates. It can be used
for special applications
where the SCP-920 does not
always show good adhesion
properties. It has good ad
hesion to a variety of
substrates.Sample marking
should be conducted to
confirm proper adhesion and
dry
time requirements. Dry time
for this ink should be
1-5 seconds but could be
longer depending on the substr
ate and ambient conditions. A
FlowJet is required
when using the ink in 5
gallon pails. It can also be
used with a HP Ink Module
with proper agitation of the
ink bottle on a routine
basis. The ink has good
opacity on dark substrates.
This ink has received approval
for FDA incidental food
contact.
