L-219 Black Ink:
Substrates Marked
Preferred: Metals, fabrics,
paper, some plastics.
Acceptable: Various porous
and nonporous substrates.
This ink is ketone based and
poses good adhesion and
abrasion properties on a
range of substrates from
paper/boards through metals
and many plastics with very
fast drying times (typically
less than 5 seconds).
L219 Black Ink has proved
over the years to be an
“Industry Standard Ink,”
combining an intense black
appearance and superb print
quality with fast dry time
and exceptional reliability.
This ink will have FDA
approval for incidental food
contact. This ink may NOT be
applied directly to food but
can be used on
various food packaging
materials. This ink does
conform to Mil spec
